One-of-a-Kind
I handcrafted this ornament starting with the puffy pink velvet medallion (not sure what else to call it), with beaded fringe. I'm calling the style of this piece - Modern Vintage. I painted a wood disc to serve as the foundation. The vintage images of the Eiffle Tower, Ballet Dancer and postage stamp came from Fairy Graphics. I sprayed them with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo then sealed them with antique decoupage. Acrylic pearl trim covers the edge and I strung pearl beads on wire to form the hanger.
This one-of-a-kind piece is a unique gift for someone who has a pink decorating theme. The appeal of this is not limited to Christmas. Maybe you or someone you know loves Paris or is a ballet dancer. You're giving someone a handcrafted piece made with re-purposed components.
